Anna and Brandon's Reception, Scotts Bluff Country Club, Scottsbluff, NE, July 27th, 2019.
I wrapped up the month of July with this funtastic (is that a word?) wedding reception at the Scotts Bluff Country Club!!
Anna contacted me about her and Brandon's wedding a year in advance to check on pricing and availability. We exchanged a few emails and I sent her a few package options and they were happy to book me as their DJ just a few weeks later.
I enjoyed helping Anna with her planning along the way. It's one of the extra things that I do for my customers. Whether it's some song suggestions, referrals/recommendations for decor or photographers or cake, etc. I like to go the extra mile for my customers! In one of the emails she sent to me, she mentioned this:
"I think hiring you as a DJ has been one of the best choices I've made so far. I appreciate you willing to give advice/options that are available in the area."
Once we were closer to their wedding date, they sent me their final plans and a song list. Not just any song list, it was a list of songs they definitely wanted to have played, a few "if there's time" songs, and even some artists and songs they did not want to hear. This was very helpful in fine-tuning their playlist. I'm happy to let you know that I played everyone one of their must-plays, which included a few songs I hadn't ever played at a wedding before this one. They were a blast to entertain and a truly nice, down-to-earth couple who I wish the very best in their new lives together as husband and wife.

"Gary was amazing to work with! By far one of the best wedding planning choices we made was choosing The DJ Music System. Sometimes in the wedding business, you hire vendors not knowing what you are going to get. This was not the case with Gary. From the very first e-mail he was very professional and provided all information upfront. We did not have to worry and knew what to expect on our wedding day. Even months before our reception, Gary was very helpful in the planning process. He was able to make suggestions and provided great detail if we had questions about what was available in the area. Gary did a terrific job being an MC and made sure everything ran smooth during our reception. He made sure to play the music genres we requested, and kept the dance floor filled the entire night.
