2022 has been one of the busiest years ever!! I am so thankful for all of the brides, grooms, clients, schools, and customers who chose The DJ Music System for their events this year.
While I haven't been posting blog updates throughout this year, as I've done in the past, I've been staying active on social media and sharing pictures and videos there. If you scroll through my personal Facebook page or The DJ Music System Facebook page, you'll see how exciting this year has been!
Being a DJ is my main job, however, as many of you know I enjoy taking and sharing professional pictures from events, too. I'm always looking for ways to do something more with my business. I remember telling myself years ago to never stop learning, never think you know everything about the business, and always continue to grow.
In my early days, I remember thinking that I wanted to have the best lighting and sound, and I was always searching for new lights, speakers, and music. I branched out with new lighting when Uplighting was the trending thing and still use it today. I expanded into event planning and continually help my clients plan their weddings and events.
One thing that I've wanted to do for a long time is video. Sure, I recorded some videos over the years on some of my older cameras, but they never had the quality that I wanted. Now that technology has advanced (and I've updated what I use), I can record videos with much better quality, I enjoy recording videos at events.
Editing pictures takes a long time to do, especially if you want to truly bring out the best in each image. Videos also are very time-consuming, but to me, it's all worth every minute I spend editing both of them. If you browse my Facebook page, you'll see lots of videos that I have put together from events this year.
Even though you're not seeing the blog posts that I used to do for every event here on this page, if you take a look at my social media (where it actually gets seen a lot more than here), you will get to see how busy of a year it's actually been and also see lots of pictures and videos from weddings and events of 2022.
